The Alvin School 2011 - 2012 year begins August 22nd. Every store has seen a hussel and bussle of buying new clothes, shoes, and school supplies for this school year.
Lurking in the back of every child's head is.... will I need a shot this school year. The answer could be yes! Be sure to check those vaccanation cards and make sure all of your child's shots are up to date. If not, he or she will have a very short school year this year.
The Alvin Sun reported, "In Alvin, vaccinations are given free of charge upstairs in the building occupied by Judge Jerome Jozwiak, 2600 George Street. In Manvel, the clinic is located at 7313 Corporate Drive. There is no charge for the vaccinations. Clinic hours are 8 a.m. through 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. The number for the clinic in Alvin is 281 585-3024, The number for the Manvel clinic is 281-756-2440.
So don't forget to drag out those cards and take a close look.
