Menifee CA – If you are currently selling your home as a short sale, take caution and discuss with your Realtor the reasons why you should not jump on the very first offer that comes your way. You may have to resist pressure. Buyer's are anxious and may get impatient, but take the time to discuss the pros and cons of this approach.

Buyers know the inventory is limited (at least in our local area) and are impatient to get an offer accepted. But the first offer ~~~and Buyer~~~ is not always the best option.

If a buyer loves your home and are willing to submit a reasonable offer, than they might be the right fit but take the time to find out more about the buyer. Ask your Realtor some questions such as how long have the buyer's been looking? Do they have any other offers on other properties and are they willing to wait out the short sale process?

What is most common in short sales is buyer's get tired of waiting for the approval. Be thoughtful in your selection process. There is no silver bullet but asking the right questions on the front end of the transaction may end up saving you your sanity and possibly even financial ruin on the back end of the transaction.

Thinking about a short sale? I can help you short sale your property and get back on your feet. When we talk, I will explain how the process works in detail and answer any questions you may have. Or, if you prefer, you can call me at 951-315-3201
