July was a good month in real estate home sales in Metro Detroit, so far the month of July sales has topped the previous months. The median sale price in July was $78, 000, that's not a staggering number by any means but it's up from $60, 000 back in January. It also has been reported that there is a decrease in the number of distressed properties and the more expensive homes are starting to sell again.
Things are looking up around here in Michigan at least real estate wise. More job creation= stability which equals increased home sales.. Let's keep it going Michigan!
