Who Takes the Trash out? Who Who Who Who?

I'm at my house for a week in Senita and if I remembered, I would check outside my window like a nosy neighbor to see what day trash was picked up.  In this manner I figured out that recycling fell on a Thursday but for some reason I couldn't figure out when trash day was....I really wasn't on a full-on mission yet considering I didn't have much trash built up.  Then week 2 of living in my new house I started getting a little antsy. As trash was piling up my search got more serious.  My next course of action was to ask my neighbor.  When I asked him he told me he didn't know.  I of course instantly made fun of him and scolded him that he has basically revealed that he never helps with this task if he has no idea and told him as the man of the house he better get to know that information soon.  He said he would tell me the following day, but for some reason I didn't see him as much outside anymore.  haha.  Week 3 comes and a client of mine finally closes on her new house and realizes there are no trash bins.  Ok, now the pressure is on.  I need this information.  A Google search within minutes directs me to Maricopa's Waste Management site.  So easy! Please see below.

My trash cans are sitting on the curb, waiting for the City to pick them up tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I'm the one who creates the refuse AND the one who takes out items for trash removal and/or recycling. I found it easy to remember which days were which by posting a calendar on my frig door (although posting on the inside of the entry door could work just as well).

I'm happy to see that the men are representing here and are dutifully taking out the trash each week.  Good job men!
