Help!! I'm Tagless...

As I am a fairy new blogger, I have wtitten a number of posts, but still dont see any Tags?  Is it the number of times one word comes up?  Or is it the nature of the blogs and the resposnes I recieve?   I have noticed some AR bloggers have a long Tag Line?  Does this help them show up on the first page of Google as the content expert ?  Is it the Tags that are important?

I have learned a lot here, thanks to a number of great AR bloggers. Next new item to learn is how to earn my Tags? Any assistance from the experts would be helpful.   Do they just show up, or do I have to initiate the process?

Kimberly, when you post a blog, there is a section right above the drop down for Public, Members Only, etc. that allows you to input your tags.  The tags you choose will show up on the right hand side of your blog under your "Tag Cloud" once the post is saved, making it easy to find posts on a certain topic.  Try to choose a handful of relevant tags and stick to those.  Here is a link to a post that might be helpful:

Hope this helps!

Hi Kimberly-

You don't earn tags, you create them.

It's a way of condensing the important points of a blog into a few words.

For instance you could tag this post with newbies, questions, tags.

Check out some of the more successful blogs on AR and compare the tags to the material in the article.

Good Luck!
