I get to brag a little today. My assistant told me that I most be doing something right, because I got the best award that an agent can get: a referrals from competing agents.
The week started with a phone call from another reo agent, one of his property was re-assigned, the client has a 90 day policy, because it didn't sell in 90 days, so told the asset manager that I should get the listing. This agent is not even a friend of mine, I have only met him once, but back in January, a bank re-assign one of his previous listings to me and I got it sold.
Then Tuesday I receive two short sale referrals from two local agents, these two I consider friends, there are very few Spanish speaking agents in my area, maybe 12, so we are all competing for that market, well these two ladies are two of those 12 agents.
This afternoon I receive another referral from an out of town agent, this time a short sale. She told me that she call me because I speak Spanish and because I sold a house near my new listing in a short amount of time.
