Real Estate Recovery in Salem County, NJ - part five
"Individual commitment to a group effort — that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work." ~Vince Lombardi (1913-1970), championship football coach for the NFL
I am happy to write this fifth and final installment of Good Real Estate News in Salem County, NJ.
Nowhere has the Real Estate recovery been more apparent than in my very own office. Back in the chaotic market in 2005, there was a full roster of active at the Coldwell Banker Pino Agency's Pennsville office. As the tough times presented itself, beginning in the fall of 2006, agents began to stay at home.....began to drop out.
I watched the work roll diminish year-after-year until it seemed as if there were only two people in the office on a regular basis each day -- the processor and me.
Fast forward to 2011 -- we now have a new Assistant Manager and two new, enthusiastic agents in addition to our established agents. The 'newbies' are helping to rejuvenate the entire office!
It's GREAT!
The Real Estate Recovery is presenting itself in:
Joseph F. Pino - Broker of Record - who never gave up and showed his business savy by wisely cutting costs and believing in his agents ability to do well
Dee Shabilon-Koons - Processor - who became 'the glue' who held the office together by keeping the spirits up of both our agents and our clients during some trying times.
Kellyann Peterson - Assistant Manager - who recently came on board to join our management staff. She brings much excitement and high goals to the office.
Jennifer Jess - Sales Agent - who bravely decided to enter into the Real Estate business full time in an uncertain climate. Her focus on waterfront properties is a specialty that was grossly overlooked in Salem County.
Alice Percheski - Sales Agent - who brings to us her extensive teaching experience and Real Estate background. Her advanced training in short sales is something that is so necessary in today's recovering market. We'll be leaning on her, for sure.
These folks are leading our office into a brand new day. Their individual commitments to taking care of our clients, our office, our company and each other is both refreshing and inspiring.
Where do I fit into this picture?
I am inspired to step down from my management duties of fifteen years and get back into the trenches with my fellow agents.
I want to list properties.
I want to sell properties.
I want to take excellent care of my Seller clients.
I want to take excellent care of my Buyer clients.
I want to be smack-dab in the middle of this Real Estate Recovery.
As Jean-Luc Picard routinely said on 'Star Trek - Next Generation'......
I want to "Make It So"!
