Home shoppers and pet lovers are invited to meet their new best friend and tour what could be their next new home at "Pardee's Dog Days of Summer and Pet Adoption Fair". This event will take place at Highlands Village in Carmel Valley tomorrow August 21, 2011, from noon to 4:00PM, and will include free refreshments, a prize drawing for gifts from a local pet store, adoptable dogs, cats and valuable information about pet adoption from a Helen Woodward Animal Center representation and Guardian Angels Animal Rescue.

Helen Woodward Animal Center is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of animals and enriching the lives of people. For more than 30 years their no-kill center located in Rancho Santa Fe has provided humane care and animal adoption for orphaned animals as well as animal-centered educational and therapeutic program for people in the North San Diego County. Guardian Angels Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, caring for socializing and adopting-out abandoned, lost or stray cats in of a loving home.
