Front Yard Axis Buck

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Eichler Properties DRE # 183868

This young Axis buck dropped by at six o'clock this afternoon to graze on a little of my front yard grass.  He sure looks healthy and has a nice size set of antlers for a young buck.  He did not show up alone he had some of his female friends along for company.  I suspect there will be some new babies born before too long into the season.

Mel, Thanks for the comments.  As dry as it is here in our area you would not think the deer would be in this good of shape.

This is a nice one.  I have a buck that I see alot that has only one antler, and the other is a stub...  Guess what I named him... lol!

Maggie, There are always a number in my yard every day. Just after these left a young Whitetail buch came to eat right at my front window.  I am sad though because i am moving the first of Sept. and won't be around to view or feed them.  I hope that they do well without me. :)

Chris, I  think I know his name but next year it will be better if he is young if old they may be worse.

John, I am glad that you liked the photos.  Get out there and enjoy some wildlife and spend the time camping at the same time.  It really gives new life to us when we get out in nature.  Make that morning coffee over the camp fire and smell the roses.  :):)

Debra, I know that you like the Axis deer photos, too bad that I will be moving by the 7th of September. There a lot of deer where I am moving too but not like in my yard every day.  Thanks for the comments. :):)

Jeanean, Thanks for the comments I love watching the deer and antelope in the area.  We also have black bears but I have not seen one yet.  I have photographed elk and moose with some other types of deer in our part of Texas.
