So what made you get out of cars? You were hands down the most confident mofo I've ever met...
The other day I was on facebook and an old Cape Cod acquaintance had sent me a message. At first glance I must admit, I didn't put the face with the name. My mind said Eric, ( That's my name) is this a Car guy from Cape Cod?
The other day I was on facebook and an old Cape Cod acquaintance had sent me a message. At first glance I must admit, I didn't put the face with the name. My mind said Eric, ( That's my name) is this a Car guy from Cape Cod?
Now stay with me on this. I responded to the message with a semi generic.. “ Hi how are you? what have you been up too?” After hitting the send button my mind once again started searching my mental database to connect the dots.
Ive been selling Cape Cod Real Estate for about five years now, was this a person from my past or a recent contact that I should remember? Now I must admit at first, I started to second guess my relevance in this real estate market. Here I was trying to make a difference in peoples lives by truly being an advocate for their Cape Cod Real Estate Dreams, and I cant remember who they are!
So that thought took me down a road I didn't like. How many of my past clients have I not spoken with or reached out too over the years.. . Yikes
Here's the FaceBook message I received:
“It's pretty cool to hear from ya bro. I got a pretty big, wicked cheap apartment in Missouri right now, still got my house in Florida just south of daytona. James got married last year. That's how we ended in mo. He's traveling the gypsy road as well. It's usually around St. Louis but we go all over the country. It's bad ass to see 200 - 300 ups a day instead of just hoping for a fat pound sandwich. Lot builders is located in Orlando, but I can do all of it via Internet. It doesn't pay everyday, but I almost make as much as the road. So it gives me options. So what made you get out cars? You were hands down the most confident mofo I've ever met...”
Well the bottom line of this is, Confidence without action is week. Ive helped many buyers and sellers on Cape Cod. But I have I done a incomplete job of staying in touch with them over the years and making sure their needs are still being fulfilled.
Confidence is one thing. Commitment is another. Well I’ve made a commitment to my Cape Cod Buyers & sellers, now I must go back and make sure I am keeping those commitments.
Thanks for the Facebook message, Mike
