Today was a very hectic day! I am close to reaching my deadline on a machine appraisal I am working on. I have a lot of bits and pieces to get together, so I have I decide to dedicate my day to it.
At 10:00 I receive a call from a buyer I have been working with, they would like to schedule an appointment to look at a couple houses and they need to do it today.
I know at 1:50 I will need to pickup my Grandson from school which is 35 minutes from my house so I rework my schedule. I pickup my grandson at 1:50, Show houses at 2:30 (45 minutes from my grandson school), meet my husband at 4:00 to hand off my grandson and it’s off to the office at 5:00 to write an offer.
A week ago I was in the emergency room at Davis hospital. I received a call from my daughter at 3:45 that my grandson had fallen and hit his head; she was taking him to the hospital. At 5:15 an ambulance was picking him up to take him to UC Davis trauma Center with a head fracture.
As long as I live I will never forget that little smile on his face as I entered the emergency room. I watched as he was scanned and pocked and hocked up to IV's, needless to say there was a lot of praying. Today I am picking him up from school, asking how his day went and taking him with me to my appointment.
So as I reworked my schedule I do not sweat the small stuff but grab on to the things that are important. I am now up at 2:30 working on that appraisal but life is good and God has truly blessed me!
