This Cat Is King In Our Home

A few years ago we heard of a cat that was abandoned in an apartment community. I was never much of a cat lover. But his guy reason has earned my appreciation for cats.

There has been a lot of talk recently about people leaving there pets when they move out of there homes and apartments. Passing this burden of stray pets onto neighbors and management is not humane. Thousands of pets are left behind. These animals are usually brought to the pound and made available for adoption. Because of the large numbers of pets being taken in, it is getting tougher to find homes for these animals.

We were very fortunate to get our cat, maybe you would consider adopting one too.

Tom - being President of the Board of our local SPCA, I want to thank you for #1 adopting him - he looks like a sweetie; and #2 saying what you said. It is getting harder and the shelters like mine have so little resources. We aren't publicly funded and depend entirely on the community. I'm sure the ones in your area are the same.

It has worked out for us Debbie. In fact we are getting another cat that needs to work its way into our home.

This cat has a hunting side that is worthy of its own post, maybe sometime soon.

It is the same way locally Toni. If people aren't able to adopt a pet, they can certainly help by donating directly to these programs.

They are great to have around Stella.
