On behalf of the Miles for Marrow Foundation, I am pleased to announce that the first annual Miles for Marrow Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, September 26 at Iron Horse Golf Course in N. Richland Hills, TX. Established in March of 2009, the Miles for Marrow Foundation’s mission is to educate individuals about their power to help save the lives of thousands of people suffering from a blood cancer or bone marrow disease. Each year, more than 100,000 men, women, and children are diagnosed with a blood cancer or bone marrow disease including leukemia, MDS, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and several others. These victims and their families, along with their faith, focus their hopes and dreams on finding a matching bone marrow or stem cell donor. Our commitment at the Miles for Marrow Foundation is to raise awareness for the need of bone marrow and stem cell donors and help register potential donors to take their first step towards saving a life.
You will be supporting a great mission and I guarantee we will have fun! Please feel free to invite your friends, family, colleqgues to play golf or to take advantage of our sponsorhips.
