I'm glad it was not worse for you. Coastal living has its good points, and there are some weather-related risks. Hope the rest of the hurricane season is uneventful for you.

Karen~ Thanks so much for posting this morning. As I watched the reports from last night, all I could think about was you and Frank.  I was happy to hear from your Governor that it appeared that the damage wasn't what had originally been feared. Relieved to hear all is well!!

Todd ~ We love the beach but like anything else it comes with its negatives ~ Hurricane Season ~ Sorry, but we would much rather have more sunshine, warmer weather, golf and the beach less than a mile away than snow, ice and blizzards ~ Just sayin'

Glad to hear you made it through OK. I am in Raleigh and was worried that we'd get hit by the outer bands. We lucked out. Got some wind and rain but mild for a hurricane.
