Happy Everyday

Happy Everyday...

In my sun room hangs a mirror reminding me to celebrate another Happy Everyday.

My Happy Everyday's vary in intensity. And, I must admit, some are a lot happier than others. But generally, most days bring with them another chance to celebrate life.

After all, we're already here, and how we choose to greet both our triumphs and challenges is within our control.

One of the easiest ways to ensure another Happy Everyday, is to express gratitude - for the sunrise and sunset, for the warm sun and cool rain, and for our wins and our failures.

Yes, gratitude, even for our failures. Because, although a failure may at first appear as a set-back, put in its proper perspective, it becomes the motivation for a future success.

A failure offers us the greatest opportunity for growth and self awareness.  And, if our goal is to live up to our full potential as human beings, that growth and self awareness is critical to our journey.

Regardless of what today brings, it is my sincere hope that you have many, many Happy Everydays.

Are you looking for a Camas Area Realtor who appreciates the journey of Happy Everyday?  Let's explore your options.

ViewHomes™ grew out of our passion for nature, beautiful surroundings, and peaceful environments. Starting together in an urban environment, over the years we've gravitated towards areas with smaller populations and less density. We now enjoy our lifestyle in a rural environment, but with close proximity to metropolitan areas where we appreciate all the amenities of fine restaurants, shopping, and an easy drive to an international airport.
Living in ViewHomes™ is like having “elbowroom for the soul”.

Wouldn't it be great if all our contacts throughout the day were to look for the good side. Even problems can be handled without rancor. Taking the high road is not always easy.

Bill, how very dear of you to leave such kind comments. Thanks so much, and why aren't you blogging more? I paid you visit....:)

Kathy, I know you are one Postive Person - "Oh what a beautiful morning."  As for the mirror? I got this at a boutique home store in our area...so, I don't know...sorry!

Hi Debbie - yes, that attitude helps keep away the "spammer blues." LOL, I just left your blog...:)

Brad, you're so right- but, I do strive (100%) to make sure my interactions with ALL are positive, or at least, respectful. Sounds as if that's your goal too. Thanks for the visit and comments.

Life lessons are best (and sometimes painfully) learned through trial and error BUT we can still have a great outlook and meet each new challenge head-on with a smile.

Love that in your sunroom, it is a wonderful inspiration.  We celebrate our failures ( when we had our commercial real estate firm, we celebrated even if a deal fell through), because it is the steppinstone to success.  Have a great day.  A

Debb,  A very beautiful post that reminds us that all is within our control.   Perhaps we can not change the events but we can certainly determine what we make of them.  It is the simple blessings in life and the everyday happiness we need to be cognizant of.  Thank you for a wonderful reminder!!

Hi Debb~ I'm always grateful for motivation blog posts! Your reminder to stay optimistic was rejuvenating.

My greatest success has come from trying and failing. Learning from our failures gives us strength and knowldege, if we let it!

Best regards from Seattle,

Good Morning Debb,

What a nice piece and I love your mirror.  Sometimes we do need reminders, but my belief is and has always been that there are no failures, there are only things that did not work and so we go on keeping a positive attitude as best we can.  It is only a word in the dictionary that can seem so negative; this belief has served me well over the years even though I have to remind myself on occassion that really there are no failures only attitudes.

Deb - first, I love your unique mirror photo and I love taking pictures of them with scenes reflected back - they come out so cool. Second, what a positive message and if we all focused on our blessings more, we'd all have a little more gratitude. Lastly, I've always found wisdom encrypted in my failures, and that is invaluable and can be the best teacher of all. A big suggest for you my friend!

I LOVE the mirror Debb and the post!  There's not a day that goes by that I'm not totally thankful for the fact that I can get out of bed, I can go to work, I can smile and I can make a difference in someone's life.  I'm pretty happy.  It's a choice... and I choose happiness every day!  I'm so glad you do too!

Hi Deb,

Lots of comments!

Your post was so appropriate for Sunday, when we are to stop work and reflect on our relationship with God. Certainly gratitude is a foundation stone of our existence, and sets the tone for all of life.

Thanks for the post

Happy Everyday! What a great idea and lovely post. I just had to click suggest because your post is so unique and it's what everyone needs in their life - a positive attitude.

It goes without saying, you're a thoughtful, caring, unique individual who knows how to give back. As a testimonial, I would suggest that anyone looking to buy or sell or has questions about Real Estate in Washington to contact you.
