Reflections of Hurricane Irene in Sunset Beach, NC
Last night we encountered the most beautiful sky as the evening approached. I stood outside staring and reflecting in wonderment, how only a few hours ago the appearance was so contrasting.
Life, as we know it, moves so swiftly by us.
Was Hurricane Irene an awakening for some, a reminder...
Are we embracing life or just living it day by day?
Hopefully there wasn't much damage. Glad to see that you are safe a writing your blog!

We saw similarly colored skies here in the Raleigh area last night too. And when they're that color, that's always a great sign that the new day will be filled with sunshine. Glad you guys are all right and Irene is just a memory now.
Karen - Glad all is well with you after such a horrific storm. We had some rain and wind here in Raleigh but for the most part we missed the storm.

Frank & Karen - So glad that my friends in Sunset Beach are safe and enjoying such beautiful skies! We are back home and safe as well. Quite a mess to clean up, but no real damage!
