There are times when you feel that you're really on the edge. No one else you know is looking at your surroundings quite the same way as you do. The weakness you initially felt in your knees is slowly dissipating. A 360 degree spin sends you into a slight euphoric state. What is going on? Are you still in control? Yes, everything is good in your life, you've just moved from terra firma at ground level to the elevated atmosphere of High Rise living. These buildings have at least 8 stories as a minimum to even begin to be called "High Rise" according to our MLS. Anything under five stories and you could be looking at treetops instead of the open vistas. Then the higher you go the better it is going to be, right. Well, that's generally the idea. There is a possibility you could reach a point of diminishing returns although it's not likely. The thrill of viewing your surroundings from the bird's perspective is intriguing don't you think?
It's all about the sensation you feel at those heights. Some persons are quite comfortable while others barely tolerate the feeling. Oh, and feeling there is. A slight breeze at certain speeds can cause a mild vibration at your feet and send it right up to your head. I like to think of these skyhomes as living, breathing entities which will take a little time for you to get to know. Wind direction plays a factor as does speed along with temperature. Sensations may vary during sunsets or sunrises too. We hope you can become accustomed to them. It can be sounds also accompanied with vibration. In any event you'll soon get to know your building and it's living nuances much better than any infrequent visitor ever would. That's when you can begin to enjoy your new high!
