Anne you are right.  Visitors will be surprised upon entering the home to discover the amount of space and the ease for which the rooms flow.

A complete surprise Marco.  Perhaps people don't think of swimming pools when they think of historical homes.

Charita, We've got a window seating area in our home office.  Our pets LOVE it!  Bunny the Chihuahua is curled up on it right now, and rare is the time that either her or one of the cats isn't on the perch enjoying the view outside :)

BLiz, although the home I moved from didn't have a window seat, the house set high up off of the street and the living room had a picture window. My favorite chair sat right at the window and by far it was the best seat in the house and where I sent most of my time. I miss it a lot.
