A trip to Mt Airy North Carolina
Thanks to Sharon Lee...This trip down memory lane was oh so enjoyable!! I thought may be others may enjoy it as well as I did!! Thank you Sharon it was very cool to see those photos!
On Friday Mom and I and Laura our helper took a day trip to Mount Airy N.C. Now what could possibly be in Mount Airy that would take us there. Well if you are a baby boomer or older you will remember this program that is still on thanks to TV keeping the oldies but goodies show on TV. I grew up watching this show and occasionally will watch it as Mom watches every night at 5:30 on the local channel. This is when TV was wholesome.
I took some photos of the area and the museum/playhouse. Mom went in the playhouse but didn't want to go anywhere else so I am sure I missed some places but these were the photos I did get.
