Conveniently located off Peachtree Road between Midtown and Buckhead, Peachtree Hills is one of Atlanta’s finest neighborhoods. In general, these homes were built from the 1920’s up to 1950 and are bungalow-style with brick and/or wood siding. Most have either two or three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and they sit on smaller lots less than 1/3 of an acre. A few homes have been completely renovated or rebuilt, and you can expect investors to be interested in buying up rundown properties and rebuilding larger homes in their place in the coming years.
There is an optional homeowner’s association that costs around $165/year. They host several events throughout the year, organize security patrols with off-duty APD officers, communicate with the city regarding zoning changes, and release newsletters as well as maintain a website (www.peachtree-hills.org).
