Harbor Village is a lovely condo complex on the shores of the Myakka River, where it flows into Charlotte Harbor in Port Charlotte Florida.
This is also where I used to live. Back in 2005 I got a divorce and moved down to Port Charlotte for a little over a year before returning up to the Clearwater Area of Florida.
I lived in this condo complex that is totally hidden from 776, the major highway that connects Port Charlotte to Englewood in an area of Charlotte County called El Jobean.
Harbor Village is on a little finger at the junction where the Myakka River flows into Charlotte Harbor. There is a small canal that belongs to the complex for boaters to tie up. Due to the location of the canal, the boats are protected from the winds.
From my screened in balcony I could watch the sun setting over Charlotte Harbor or take a walk out on the pier to sit and relax.
While I was living down in Harbor Village my son visited from DC. It was also the time that my granddaughter was born up in Clearwater, hence my move back home.
This was a wonderful community and I was amazed at how low the prices have gone! Naturally, I had to check since I was down in the area for the day!
If I did not have family here in the Clearwater Area, this is certainly one place I would consider living again. Peaceful, quiet.......if you want more information, give me a call!
