The “Lazy Days of Summer” has gone to the dogs.
It was just so hot yesterday that I just took a break and even my dogs like to get into the pool as long as they don’t get wet!

Kristin, that's adorable. There is no way I could keep my Golden out of that pool, he'd be doing laps all day...clogging up the filters with his fur...oh my! Enjoy the rest of summer. Dj
Kristin-how did you get both dogs at the sametime? Great photo, I'm taking my dog swimming today!
Best
Thanks for sharing your fun photo. They do not look happy.
Have a most productive week and be sure to have your camera in hand for those special moments.
Blooming for you!

Hi Debb, They do not like to swim but love to float around. Thanks for stopping.
Hi Adrian, I just put one on and go and chase the other one. They floated for about 1 hour.
Hi Roy, No they really like to boggie board. I push it up the steps and they just put their head down and stay on. No swimming though.
Hi Wanda,
I do have fun with my dogs as I am an empty nester now. So when I am not working 7 days a week selling real estate, I am either walking or swimming with my 3 adorable dogs. I am blessed to have 3 wonderful rescue dogs.
Hi Kristin, you just commented on my post about TJ and guess what? He loves to float around our pool on a raft, but hates to actually get in and wet too! Our pets add so much joy to our lives, don't they?
Hi Erika,
How funny that we both have dogs that like to go in the pool on rafts but not any swimming. Yes, I love pets and my 3 rescue dogs are so special. I used to buy pedigree animals but not anymore as there are so many animals already out there in need of good homes. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jeff,
Some dogs are funny about the water. I had a Cocker Spaniel that passed on last year. If she saw a mud puddle she would purposely go in it instead of around it. Some love water and others hate it. Thanks for stopping.
Hi Kristin, Great photos and then they finally relax. Dogs either love the water or can do without.
Nice to hear you rescue dogs!
Good that you have a pool to stay cool!
All the best.
Gloria
Hi Gloria,
Yes they are sometimes nervous at first but then relax. The first one looks like they are surfing on the board. Have a nice week and thanks for stopping.
Your pool is beautiful!!! I can't even imagine what it would be like to come home to that each night. Jealous!!! Your woo-woos are pretty darn cute too!
Kristin - What a great shot! How did you get those guys to stay still for the shot? Great timing...
Hi Kerrie,
Thanks for the nice compliment; yes it was the deciding factor to buy this home 7 years ago but now we are empty nesters and I swim with the dogs instead.
Hi Robert,
They really like to float around. I have a 3rd one but she won't ride with them so just goes and hides instead. Our little girls all have such different personalities. But so sweet and we love them so!
Kristin, your dogs are so cute, it reminds me of dog beach in Venice FL some dogs just playing on the beach, would not go near to the water.
Hi Kwee,
I made them learn to swim out at the steps by throwing them in and they have to get out on their own. It's no wonder they hate the swimming but just like to float on the boogie board. What a life they have! Thanks for the compliments about them; I love them and think they are cute too.
Hi Kristin,
Now I don't care who you are, but that is funny! My dog would be freaking out!!!
Lisa
Hello,
Yes they love to float around on the boogie board but no swimming. Thanks for stopping and have a lovely weekend.
Those dogs are too funny! I can't believe they wanted to go out on that rather than just getting in.
Hi Todd,
Yes, they hate to swim and get wet but love to float around for an hour or so while I swim. I usually turn off the waterfall as it makes them nervous is they get close to it knowing it will splash water on them. I made them all learn where to get in and out of the pool last summer by throwing them in and guiding them to the steps so when they boogie board, they can only get off in the same place where the steps are. We did this so they would know how to get out in case they fell in in the dark. My older dog, Snowy, fell in twice and had cataracts so we wanted to train these dogs as puppies to find the escape route easier.
