A Bargain Ain't Always a Bargain-For Sale by Owners in and around San Antonio TX-I Offer You Choices!
Sometimes on a quest for saving money, we end up shooting ourselves in the foot. In some of these instances, we end up paying much more in time, dollars and headaches when we could have saved ourselves the heartache by doing our homework to begin with.
Not to say that looking for bargains or a way to save money isn't a good idea. It most definitely is! However, don't scoop up the first "bargain" you see, just to save money when it may not be a bargain at all. For example, the For Sale by Owner in and around San Antonio Texas may decide to find just any old flat fee service because it is cheap and quick. Get your home into the MLS and get your home sold and save tons of money...right?! Not necessarily. What track record does this flat fee service have? Can they point out to you all of their successes while offering you bottom line pricing? Is it really a bargain? Do you get representation for your transaction or do you just get to take a few pictures and then hope for the best?
Just thought I would throw in there that recently the founder of forsalebyowner.com turned to a Realtor® to get his luxury apartment sold. He tried unsuccessfully for 6 months when he finally turned it over to a professional. This Realtor® not only sold his home in less time, he sold it for more money! That is an incredible story and, honestly, great advertising for listing agents everywhere...

You may be asking, what if I just want you to list my home in the MLS? Will you do just that? No, I won't. That isn't the type of Realtor® I am. Whenever I list a home in the MLS, whether a full listing agreement or not, it implies that I am representing you as your listing agent. So, while listing in the MLS is definitely one of the menu items I offer, it comes with Representation in a nice, neat package.
Yes, all of the above things will come with a certain price tag, but you will understand the value in those Real Estate services when hiring me as your ACRE® (sometimes clearing up the transparency can help) and can save money over the traditional commission model.
By the way, traditional commission is still on the table if you want it. I work that way too. Just because I am an Accredited Consultant in Real Estate® doesn't mean that I don't offer full services as a listing agent. The best part is that if you start off with just a few services that you bought and paid for and want to switch to a traditional commission model later, YOU Can! AND, you will be credited what you already paid at the closing table. This way you aren't paying twice for some of the same services. It's all about Choices.
