Annie put down your gun.. Yes there are still zero down loans. These are real loans backed by none other than The United States Department of Agriculture the USDA. In Arizona the USDA is providing 100% financing on homes built in these cities. Buckeye, Anthem and Maricopa Arizona. You still have to qualify for the mortgage much like you would have to qualify for a FHA loan, however if you want to live in Buckeye, Anthem and Maricopa Arizona then the USDA will fund 100% of the loan amount.

I forgot about the USDA loans because they are not used here in our area.

Say it's not true? That is very good information for the people of Arizona but that doesn't help us out here in Cali. Well hopefully it will be coming our way soon..

James there are USDA loans available in California. The key to the USDA loan is the location. USDA will lend in rural areas. I am sending you the USDA link for California. Howver you may want to get in touch with USDA to find out the cities in California were they will lend. Check with your loan officer if they are familiar with USDA if not I can get you the name of someone. http://www.rurdev.usda.gov/CA-SFHPrograms.html Thank you Daniel Feld
