Lee and Pamela experimented with Dragon Dictation on their iPad. That encourages me to get Dragon out of the closet in my office and actually install it on my computer, since it should work even better on a regular PC, and, oh yeah, did I mention I can't type!
More to come.
I experimented with Dragon dictation today on my iPad. I know our very own Todd Clark does all his blogging with dictation so I thought I’d give it a shot.
Here’s what I dictated to my iPad using Dragon Dictation to create this blog. All I did was dictate what I wanted right into the iPad - then I emailed it to myself.
**Confession** - I did have to clean up some of the text and added the formatting to make sense, punctuate and 'make pretty' but hey, it was really pretty neat. Try it!

Okay here I am dictating some of the tips that I learned on using the keyboard for my iPad. One of them is that if you want to find another symbol (such as a different currency symbol) you hold down the key. For example click & hold the dollar sign key and it'll give you the various currency symbols.
I like this tip... there's more choices too while in the browser, in the URL ~ if you click and hold the.com key... Look at all the choices!
Have you ever started typing something into a browsers search box and realize that you got it all wrong? Sure you could go ahead and backspace to delete it all, but instead, the next time you want to get rid of it just try this... pick up your iPad and shake it. That's right shake it!
Ever wish that you can have more than just the four standard app icons in the dock? Yup - you guessed it , you can do that too! All you need to do is again click and hold on the app icon and drag it down to the dock! Now you can have up to 6 of your favorite apps all there all the time.
Hope you liked the iPad tips AND will try dictation too - it's kinda fun!
