This is our vacation home and we vacation there too...when we can! Everything is always well kept and clean. Since we manage most of it ourself (with the help of a wonderful neighbor and a terrific cleaning company) This is also how we can offer this bargain price!
It took us three years of looking at property on the Big Island to find this location. We rented many homes in different locations and feel our location was for us, the perfect climate(comfortable temperate, less bugs). If you are looking to buy your own hideaway we can give you many suggestions on this also!
This is the only house on the 2 acres so you assured privacy( This was a big deal for us when we were renting a vacation home. Sometimes we were not even told there was another house on the propety until we got there.) If you are going though all the trouble of renting a vacation home you should have privacy.
We also have a fully equiped kitchen (see photos on website). On our last trip we started our hawaiian herb garden for all the gourmet cooks. We hope it will suppy a good amount of herbs for our guests to enjoy. We also have Apple banana trees, lemmon and avocado (when in season help yourself) We have started a pineapple patch also . .
What is there to do on the Hilo side of the Island ?Well how about a surplus of natural wonders to satisfy several days of exploration! Volcanoes, Secret Beaches, Sea Turtle Havens, Gardens, Waterfalls, World's Tallest Mountain, Astronomy, Museums, Culture . Watch the Volcano create more island!!
