Red or white, they are delicious to drink and great as gifts. I've been making my own wine for a few years now at a local wine shop called THIRSTY VINTNER. The wines are great and the service is the best around. The owner, Richard is a true professional and his customers are king - the way they should be! I can't say enough for his operation.
Some of you might be saying that the 'make your own' stuff is grog, but let me assure you that wines I have made hold up to any $15-$25 bottle from the liquor store. Really! Plus, the cost doing it yourself is about $7 per bottle.
Next time you are in Victoria, BC, look up the THIRSTY VINTNER. Or, check the web for your local wine shop and you might be pleasantly surprised at what you can stock in your cellar or give to your clients.
This is another reason to live in beautiful Victoria.
