The storms all across our nation this year have been enormous. Irene is said to be the 10th billion dollar storm this year for the USA.
With that being said, the clean up still rages on.
Some people are bemoaning their loss of property and I can understand that, but building can and will be rebuilt.
Even more people are complaining about that old tree they lost. Never see that in our lifetimes again. I lost several trees and yes it is a loss, but I am moving on.
This tree was tipped over and so I cut it up. Today, it was pulled up and I will be replacing it with the NEW.
Although this tree does not look like much, it has already lost many of it's leaves. It was growing in my wife's flower garden so she put it into this pot with thoughts of giving it to one of my clients as a closing gift.
Had no idea we would end up needing it ourselves.
We will never see it as a majestic tree in our lives, but...some day someone will and I take great satisfaction from that.
