Gravenhurst, Ontario - Chain Saw Carving days SEPTEMBER CARVING DAYS Muskoka Warf Gravenhurst If you have ever driven north up Hwy 11 just south of Gravenhurst you've likely seen the wide assortment of wood figures from bears and wolves to mushrooms and human faces on the right hand side of the road the works of several artists around Ontario. Well on Saturday you can watch as 12 artists transform hunks of wood into a variety of subjects using a chainsaw This Muskoka Carving Event was the brainchild of a local carver John Kerr of Back Yard Stuff John has assembled 12 talented chainsaw carvers from around Ontario for this two day event at the Muskoka Warf in Gravenhurst. While today's Carving is almost finished for the day you can still take in th show tomorrow Saturday September 3rd from 10am till 8:00pm
