Friday's Foto - The Bridge of the Gods, Columbia River Gorge

I love this bridge. It crosses the Columbia, between Cascade Locks, Oregon and Stevenson, Washington. I took this from on-board the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler last weekend, which provided a different perspective than on land. I love how delicate it looks from afar, almost spider-web like.

Gretchen:  What incredible beauty you are surrounded by.  Mother Nature has worked Her wonders very well.  How superbly peaceful.  I... am envious.

I wrote a post on this a little while back and I love how it was named. It is cool that they kept the name despite how so many fought it because of the word God.

Todd... if someone wants to call it the Bridge of the Gods... cool.  If someone else's beliefs are different, that is cool, as well.  Chill... I say.

Now, of course, if it were my post... I would call it the Bridge of the Goddess... but that's just me... LOL.  To each her own Deity.
