A couple of weeks ago the East Coast and Washington DC in particular suffered through an earthquake. Out here in Colorado I was told that seismologists were not even aware that that was an earthquake zone. Since the fault had no name, Congress immediately named it "not our fault". The Obama administration quickly labeled it "Bush's fault". And the seismology experts said that the rumbling was not really caused by a shifting of tectonic plates, but rather by the founding fathers rolling over in their graves.
