Scanner Pro puts power in your pocket.

Real Estate Agent with North Point Realty

Scanner Pro puts power in your pocket. Regardless of the horse power you have at your office or home, there comes a time when you need to take action "right now" and Scanner Pro could save the day - as it has for me.

I realized the value one day at lunch. It was a simple lunch meeting with a new relo buyer client.

The food had just been delivered to the table when I got a 911 text from my assistant. She needed a page from a document I had with me and the deadline to submit was 30 minutes away.

Scanner Pro to the rescue!

With apologies to my client, I took the page out of my briefcase, laid it on the table and with a click of my iPhone, created a scan of the page to forward to my assistant - problem solved! And it actually made a good impression on my client. Before we left the table she had Scanner Pro on her phone, too.

Scanner Pro is a sweet little app that is fast and simple to use. It allows you to adjust for a variety of documents and creates a reasonably legible image.

Scanner Fax PC emailScanner Pro can make your life easier in so many ways. You can scan multiple page documents, email them, upload to storage files such as Dropbox and others. I scan receipts on the spot. I've even pulled off the highway to scan/email something that was not so much an emergency as a convenience. It cuts my "to do" list down to nothing.

The cost is about $7, and there may even be a FREE version. My problem is to remember that I have it with me and make use of it more often.

If you're using this or similar smart phone apps, let me know some of your best time-savers. Appreciate your share!

That's a nifty little app.  Sadly, I'm still on  Blackberry versus a smart phone.  Most brokers here in Manhattan have Berry's and not smart phones.

Wow, I have a sticky note on my desk to check this out, but haven't.  I am actually getting ready to buy a new wireless printer, and the one I am looking at does not scan.  This app would be GREAT!  Thanks

Norma...great words.  For $7 dollars, I'm all over something like this.  Not sure how it works from something the size of an Iphone to a legal or letter sized doc, but if it does all that...I'm in!

Jennifer, there may be a Blackberry works like a photo with adjustments.

Jean, it works great for field applications; for me it wouldn't take the place of my home or office scanner...good luck with your new printer.

Larry, of course I think everything is "magic"...what other explanation? Actually, it's similar to a photo.

The land scanner that is awesome, too, is the Fujitsu ScanSnap Scanner. Check it out!

Norma - This is nothing short of brilliant!  I'm going to reblog this AND get the app.  Most apps are far less expensive, but this one sounds like it's worth $6.

Cheryl, I agree that ScanSnap is outstanding! We ran a busy office with this as our only scanner for several years.

Gail, thanks for the reblog, and I know you'll enjoy the app.

Wow!   I love this app.  I wish I could get it, but just bought a Blackberry instead of an iPhone.  Darn!   I knew there were reasons I was going to regret it.
