All information was obtained from the Multiple Listing Service and sold by various MLS participants. It is deemed accurate but not guaranteed or warranteed. This report does not include any private sales.
In August 2011 there were a total of 265 homes sold, 14 more than last month. Here is the breakdown - 56 Detached; 209 Attached.

As of August 31, 2011 were 1696 Active Listings for sale in the Active Adult 55+ communities. Of those, 189 were Contingent Sales meaning they were under contract but not all conditions of the contracts had been met yet. And, there were 261 Pending Sales waiting to close.
In my opinion, we are in a price-driven market. Prices have continued to decline in the past month. Homes are selling but for less.
