As the wife of a retired Lt. FDNY, who was part of the 9/11 tragedy, I know this is a difficult subject to talk about, but THE SUN NEWS, the local newspaper in the Grand Strand Area, as part of the 10th Anniversary coverage of September 11, 2001, is inviting all to share their memories of that day and their tributes to those who lost their loves.
All submissions will be part of a special website honoring the heroes and victims of September 11’s tragic events.
THE SUN NEWS would also like to hear from readers who played a pivotal role that day or had a unique view on the events that unraveled ~ emergency responders who immediately went to New York to help, pilots forced to land their planes, teachers, security guards and members of the military who felt their duties change on that day.
