2 things you should know about your Iphone 4

By

I have to say that there should be 2 things you should know about your Iphone 4, especially before they iphone screen shothappen.

1)  If you phone ever turns off, just goes black & you know for sure the battery is not dead.

Don't try to pull the battery out of the back of the phone.  That's what I tried because I didn't know that "you are not allowed" to take the battery out of the back of it.  There is no legal way.

You just need to push the button on the top of the phone (on/off) button at the same time as the home button (circle) button for a few seconds & the apple should appear.

2) Also, if you do those same button pushes for a brief second when your phone is on, it will take a picture of whatever is on your phone screen.

Hi Christina - Thanks for item #2. I had no idea you could do that, and it's very useful for keeping a record of recent phone calls (and probably other stuff I haven't thought of yet). I knew about the battery, but haven't any idea how I could even get to it.

This is very timely advice.  The black screen happened to me today for the first time and nothing happened when I tried to charge the phone.   I had to call back to continue an important call.   I wish I'd known this!

Yes, Thank you. I had the same thing happen to me, and spent 2 hours at the apple store just so they could do that very samething.

I don't even know how to get to my battery out of 2 1/2 years of owning an iPhone!  I just learned the screen shot thingy about a couple of months ago.  Call me slow, LOL!
