Do You Go To Work Every Day.....And Really Work!!!
Team Carlos works hard every day! This post was so true in every way. We all have distractions every once in a while but it's those who focus hard every day who will succeed. Routines are extremely important and aren't hard to follow once you get into the groove of things. It's great to set daily goals and then handle all of the extra tasks around that.
Do you go to work every day? I’m not asking if you have a physical presence at the office every day, but do you actually work every day? There are days when I work from home, and those are very productive days with no interruptions.
There are many agents who say they’re working from home, and the only work that was accomplished was three loads of laundry. On the other side of that coin, there are agents who physically appear at the office every day, and they join others for lunch, and then go home!!!
Agents need to stay focused and create a daily routine. There are tasks that need to be accomplished every day, and those duties must be a priority every day. One should have a time frame for marketing; another time frame for follow-up phone calls; a period dedicated to prospecting for new business; and time to organize your thoughts and create a new plan for the next day.
Each task is critically important in this market, if one intends to survive another year. We are on the final stretch now, and there is no room for exhaling in the “program for survival.” Market, prospect and focus on activities that will make your phone ring. Hearing that sound is the first sign of better things to come.
