The nation went crazy for anything Egyptian!

Well, King Tut is back!

This is a great accomplishment for Dallas to get this fabulous exhibit.  I might even get my husband into a museum with this show!  Can't wait.

MARIBETH:  I still remember when that song and video came out like it was yesterday.  I had the 45 of the song.  Wow!  I never thought that I'd be talking about 45's on Active Rain!

Hi Linda: You should go to the Dallas Museum of Art on a Friday night for their "Late Night" event. It is once a month and is incredibly popular! They have live music and cocktails in the atrium and you can tour the exhibition. Starbucks is the major underwriter so of course, they have Starbucks coffee as well. Check it out on their website. www.dallasmuseumofart.org

Hey Adam: Loved your comment! I still have all my 45's. I cannot get rid of them, I love them too much!

I also have many K-Tel albums...do you remember those? They had the top songs on them. Who can resist listening to the song "Convoy" by C.W. McCall one more time! How insane was the "trucking" craze that swept the nation in the 70's. When I was six years old, my best friend's father had a CB radio in his Mercedes and my friends and I thought that was the coolest thing. How weird is that...a CB radio in a luxury sedan....what were we thinking back then?!?

I think the "trucking" craze came from the movie "Smokey and the Bandit" or maybe the TV show "BJ and the Bear"...which ever came first!
