The Charlotte Business Journal just released an article titled...

"Metro Charlotte's Population tops 1.8 Million"

This data was taken from the analysis of the updated growth estimates from the 2010 U.S. Census Bureau.

"Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill remains the country’s 33rd-most-populous metro area."

So if you are looking for a city that continues to grow and offers opporunity then you may want to consider the beautiful city of Charlotte, NC.
