Congrats to Kat Palmiotti (Moriarty) for correctly guessing last weeks post OMSI the USS Blueback (SS-581) submarine, answer to Where is it Wednesday...somewhere in Portland, OR 8/31/11

Each week I'll be posting a new picture on Wednesday morning. The title of the blog will have the City where the picture is taken and I'll post the answer Wednesday evening...not only here on my blog, but on facebook business page (please click like and add yourself there) as well as tweetin it on my Twitter page.

Do you know where it is? Care to guess? Comments are welcome! I'll post the answer tonight.

It's Willamette Primary School

Located in the Historic Willamette neighborhood of West Linn, the Willamette Primary School is amidst many historical homes with a small town feel, but the education recieved here is anything one might think of as small town. The West Linn school district is known for it's exceptional schools, and the Willamette Primary School has an outstanding report card!

I'm stuck! It's obviously related to a school, and I thought the black & yellow referred to bumblebees, but I don't see any schools in West Linn that are bumblebee related. There's one in a nearby town but it's a preschool and those kids would be too young to draw those pictures above.

So I give up this time!!! I'll check back later for the answer.

Hi Cindy,

This photo was taken at the Willamette Primary School at 1403 12th Street in West Linn! Yellow and black were indeed school buses. There is a photo collage on the school's website that includes this display. Now that Kat has become a regular player, I can't fool around for too long any more. ;-)

John - hahaha. Sure you can! Fool around as long as you want. In fact, next week, I think you should think it's Tuesday on Wednesday and forget to check until the next day. :-)

Hi Gayle, I know..the time went SO FAST! It's so hard at these kind of meets to really chat with someone. It was great though to actually see the people that we talk to via blog, e-mail, or on the phone. We need to do this more often! I will be happy to host one at my home in the future.
