Good Intentions: Where does that road go again?

My days are divided into two types. 1. Business Days. Where you drive the wheels off your car signing as fast as you can as many as you can ....AND 2. Marketing days. Marketing days are days without a call. When you intend to make 5 new contacts, set up one new listing and complete some chore that you've been avoiding in your home office. Today, it was assembling new office furniture, purchased on the cheap from one of "our" mortgage lenders (who were good for 10-20 signngs a month) that on Friday closed their doors. I can't stop crying-on the inside. I'm trying to remember that I have an early morning networking-breakfast tomorrow and the golden sun will shine and I will hear the jingle of new money falling from the sky....Yes...YES!!

The fact is that I need to string together a few more "Business days" and a few less "Marketing days".

So I think to myself....I'm a nice guy. I'm really good at what I do. I treat people right and claim all my income to the IRS....And then it hits me....Nobody is borrowing money today. Especially here in Southern California.

It certainly has been a difficult time for so many.  It is sad when a business goes away.  Hopefully, everyone will and on their feet!

The business we are reaping now was sown in the past years.  When business was good, if you were still prospecting it is probably still ok for you.  Those that didn't continue prospecting during the good times are hurting in the bad times.  It is difficult to see relationships end as the business shifts.

Ibi I love that philosophy.

There are many not borrowing in MANY parts of the country.  As a CNSA, you just have to refocus your business and concentrate your marketing in different ways.
