August started off with some softness as buyers and sellers are looking for answers to the real estate markets. The Antelope Valley, Palmdale and Lancaster areas are feeling the pinch of the current economy with low job growth and worries with their current job outlook. However we did see some better numbers over July the real estate market remains unclear. Sellers are mostly short sales which are taking 4 to 6 months to close, which add to the buyer’s frustrations.
September looks to be starting off better number are at a good pace and prices holding for the most part.
