The Rockville Centre Department of Public Works curbside tree planting program has moved to the fall. Residents have until September 30th to order either a Pin Oak, Crimson King Norway Maple, Japanese Lilac, Little Leaf Linden or a Kwanzan Oriental Cherry.
Trees are $200 each and for an extra $100 a village contractor will plant the tree for you and that includes a one year guarantee if the tree dies. Planting date is Fall of 2011.
