4th Annual Beetlefest - September 10, 2011
Looking for something fun to do in Frisco Colorado this weekend, bring the entire family to the 4th Annual Beetlefest! What started out as a fun spin on the current forest condition has now grown into a great fundraiser for Friends of the Dillon Ranger District to assist them in protecting our forests from the pesky Pine Beetle. This weekend has fun events in Frisco Colorado for all ages.
Beetlefest Schedule of Activities in Frisco Colorado:
- 8:30-9:30am -- 4k Beetle Stomp Fun Run Registration for all ages, $15
- 10am -- 4k Beetle Stomp Fun Run Start
- 10am-6pm -- Let the fun begin with food and beer tents as well as Woodworker Booths
- 10am-6pm -- Take a swing a the TV8 Slug Bug for Charity
- 10am-6pm -- Bug Petting Zoo presented by the Denver Butterfly Pavilion
- 10am -- Beetlemania Lecture at the Frisco Historic Park
- 11am -- Award Ceremony for the 4k Beetle Stomp
- 11am-1pm -- Meet Smokey Bear
- 11:15am -- Timberworks Lumberjack Show presented by Stihl
- 12pm -- Stihl Protection presentations by True Value Sanders
- 1:15pm -- Timberworks Lumberjack Show presented by Stihl
- 2pm -- Stihl protection presentation by Sanders True Value
- 2:30pm -- Enjoy the music stylings of Euforquestra
- 4:30pm -- Timberworks Lumberjack Show presented by Stihl
