Photos on business cards? What are your views?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Town & Country Realty

Recently I've read a few blogs and articles about whether real estate agents should have their photo on their business card or not. While both view points are understandable, I still believe that photos on your business card are a good thing as long as you keep them updated. At my brokerage nearly everyone has their photo on their business card. How do you feel about the matter?

You're rocking the photo thing. But shouldn't your name be on the front too?  Mike Carlos.

I don't use my picture on mine. I see why the personal promotion thing works though. It just makes me feel odd.

I'm with the first comment on your name on the card after all it is your card; I think the picture is a personal preference I like having the photo.

Like you said, There are two possible sides to this issue but you should test both strategies and see which one gets you more leads. You can also ask clients if they prefer the pictures or non-pictures. Testing always helps us determine what works.

without a photo on your card, how will clients ever remember you?  However if you are going to use a photo on your business at least get a professional to take the picture

I don't have a picture on my business card but will add one on my next round, it really is the only way someone can remember you even if you have an unusual name like mine.

My business cards do have my name on them! My ActiveRain photo is an image that we use for marketing online and things of that sort so my business cards are a little bit different. What we have seems to be working very well for us!

I read an article about this yesterday I believe it was.  I plan on testing it out myself.  One of the comments under the article suggested putting a QR code in the place of a picture.  I think I'm gonna give that a try.  If I don't like the outlook... I'll just go get a new picture done! :)

A QR code on your business card, now that is a unique idea! Let us know how it goes for you :)
