Fun Lunch Tour

                                                 Friends at Glenna Goodacre House

Yesterday was my first house tour for friends.  I picked up the gang (we actually had 9 people and took 3 cars) and we toured four houses in an hour, give or take 30 minutes.  I provided brown bag lunches and had cold soft drinks and water.

We toured two new homes on Glenna Goodacre Blvd. and two great houses in Monterey-Leftwich and Tech Terrace.  We all oohed and aahed over something in each home, whether it was the light fixtures, staging, granite countertops or jacuzzi tub.  Of the group several are not contemplating a move at all but a few are ready to begin looking for moves that may take place in the next year or so.

                                               Checking out the amenities

I had one near melt-down when I couldn't find my E-Key on the way to the third home.  I panicked for a moment, certain that I had probably locked it in house #2.  Egads.  Luckily, when we arrived at the great home on 58th St., I found my key had fallen to the floor board.

The ladies all want to go again.  I'm hoping to make it a monthly event for the group and am looking at my November calendar.  I am also available to do this for other groups here in Lubbock.  If you have an interest in a "homes for sale" tour event for friends or work group, just contact me and we will set something up.

I think that is such a great idea.  It makes touring houses and getting used to the neighborhoods and subdivisions so much more entertaining.

I'm glad to have you here at KW.

Thanks so much Kyle.  This was particularly great because these ladies are good friends I worked with for years at TTU.  It is hard to stay in touch sometimes.  So this allows me to have fun with my friends, market, and research homes.  Have a great day!
