Pay it forward, donate a bicycle. The Tomoka Christian Church in Ormond Beach, Florida has a Donate bikes program to accept old bicycles. They have a team of teenage volunteers who strip and fix the bikes, re-paint them and make them available to those in need who are less fortunate.

When I heard about this program I called and told them about the 2 bikes outside my door that the grandchildren are too old to use. They were delighted to receive the donation of 2 bikes and are scheduled to pick them up later today.

Al this is a fantastic idea, i wish i could find a program like that in Manchester NH. There has to be one, i just need to find it. I get so many bikes left behind when people move or found in foreclsoed homes that if they can help soemone, it would be a huge plus. Thanks for sharing the inspiration.
