We all have our memories of September 11, 2001. My husband and I were living in Trinity, TX at that time and had made a trip to Pearland to visit my parents and to buy a home. Everyone stayed glued to the TV and watched in horror as the day unfolded. It still gives me a sick feeling to think about that day. I cried, was angry and afraid.
Today, I did watch some of the stories from people who were actually in the towers and survived. Their stories were amazing and I cried for them. I heard from people who lost loved ones, friends and coworkers that day and i cried for them. We all changed that day. We learned that America, our wonderful great Country, was not bullet proof. We learned we are vulnerable to those who hate us.
Tomorrow, I will spend some time remembering the horror of that day and I will also celebrate that we are still America '- Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave"
