Grand Piano... Not a Baby Grand. My bad (LOL)

My gal pal Erica has this really cool Grand Piano. It is in her dining room and it is 5 feet 10 inches. She is a classical pianist and we have been hanging out and chattering for a couple of days. Yeah, I know I'm supposed to go back to New York City. I'm just having a lot of fun in Maryland right now and will eventually get back to my regularly scheduled program of pimping books and being snarky and facetious after I get some Margaret Rome mentoring in (silly grin). She is schooling me in the fine art of MD RE negotiating... Tonight's homework is 93 pages of RPA Title 11.

Melodious will be schooling me on the TX codes while I jam and cram at her house for a week in Nov (LOL).  I have been waiting to cook in her kitchen for a loooooooong time (silly grin). I love pajama parties. Seriously. It's part of my second childhood and keeps life very interesting. :-)

Tomorrow, I'm going to the harbor and exploring MD neighborhoods. Might even post some eye candy... I've been hoarding it. ;-)

It is good that you can combine learning and fun in the same outing.

My mom plays the piano and would always tell me the difference in the two of them. That was a very good post and I'm going to share with my mom...

as for grands vs baby grands...there are different "opinions." some people say anything over 5'5" is a grand.  some people say anything under 6'0" is a baby grand.  some super snobs say only a 9-foot concert grand is a "grand."  at  5'10" and something that takes up the entirety of a large dining room...i don't feel anything babyish about it!

Erica, I second that. Not a Baby-G and thanks for the spec clarification. ;-)

May not be a baby grand but it is MY baby's grand!

It's been fun having you in Maryland. I get to see my town through your eyes....NICE!

Great photo of the piano! Waiting for more eye candy.
