Some of what has been sent to me today & just a few thoughts

This is a video that a friend of mine & a crew member put together on her own after Bin Laden was found.....

www.youtube.com
I made this video on September 10th 2010 so that I can post it on my facebook wall on September 11. When I found out Usama Bin Laden was killed, I decided to...

Sometimes I feel in my heart, that we should not have any Television for a day, on this day, or we should have a private sign in so as to block television there somehow.  I do not feel that bringing recognition to Bin Laden's damage that he organized....  I have felt prior this day, right after the events, prior to his death, he did not deserve to look upon it from his seat overseas.

Now, well his position has changed, but unfortunately there are others, that believe in his beliefs, or at the very least feel they would like the power?  I do think that it is more about power for this group, to elevate themselves....I do not believe in my mind, or in my heart, there is another greater cause but to try to be the more supreme.  I am proud of this great country. It is a shame that people continue to target us, when "we" in innocence, greet with open arms....some of which has become a bit more difficult, because of a few bad individuals.

This is not in anyway intended to discount others that were heroes & perished....it is simply what is close to me & I very well could have been in their very seat.  I was a Purser flying out of those airports all month & layover there, so I could visualize them defending our planes & trying to protect our passengers & in short protect our country, even though they had no warning and were not given privilege to the information at hand.  Our profession has been diminished, through no fault of our own, but people are negative to "us" as if it is our fault.  It was NOT our fault, & we have not had any control over the changes in to travel in the aviation industry.  I have just heard the death of our soldiers & the toll of injuries of approximately 40,000 that will require permanent care.  This is unbelievable.  I wish there was a way we could have stopped them.  No one even made us priveledge to the information.

Op-Ed: 9/11 — Flight attendants were the first of the first responders
www.digitaljournal.com

When we think of the first responders from September 11, 2001 images of police, firefighters and EMS pop up. There were 25 others that paid with their lives: the flight attendants on the four planes that changed history.....

If you have taken the time to get this far, then thank you for taking the time to read & watch postings from friends that I respect & colleagues that I work with & ones that "We Remember".  God please Bless the families of those that perished, God please bless the families of the survivors, God Bless please our country.

Sincerely,  Pam
