Seattle's Pike Place Market, is always an adventure on the weekends. The hustle and bustle, with fish flying, ice frantically being shoveled, produce trucks delivering seasonal bounty, and floral arrangements being bundled together with artistic flair.

Today, I have noticed a trio of street performers not singing, playing instruments or even juggling. Rather, contributing to the carnival vibe of Pike Place Market by becoming  living art. Statue people, if you will, devoted to enhancing our overall experience with their very presence among us.

And Golden Guy will leap into action if properly motivated by the sight of dollar bills being deposited into his coffer, adding to the "richness" of our weekend event, in their own special way...

Just another reason to love Living in Seattle!

You do bring us the most delightful aspects of Seattle.  San Francisco ( A's comment # 1) and Seattle are my favorite cities...and for good reason.  They are not only physically beautiful, but the ambiance is extraordinary. If most of my family members weren't all settled here, I think we'd move north. :)

I wonder if those performers would appreciate it if you tickled their noses with a feather. It takes a lot of discipline to be still for a prolonged period of time.

A visit to Seattle isn't complete without a stop at the Pike Place Market.  Great photos.   There were several 'statue people' in Honolulu the last time I visited.  Do you know if they can  make a living at this or is it just a hobby? The preparation time must be lengthy.  These people amaze me.
